Folks have been asking me which of the currently available UK #COVID vaccines are best, given that an older flavour, "KP2" is being given free on the NHS to the twelve or so people that remain eligible (😜🙄), whilst the newer "LP8.1" is available privately...

It feels ironic that this news comes 41 years and a day after my father-in-law died. He donated his brain for Huntington’s disease research, as did my husband 19 years ago. I often wonder how much such donations have contributed to advances in research 🤔

Huntington's disease successfully treated for first time One of the most devastating diseases finally has a treatment that can slow its progression and transform lives, tearful doctors tell BBC.

153 years after Dr George Huntington’s paper “On Chorea” was published describing the disease now known as Huntington’s disease, and 32 years after the discovery of the huntingtin gene, I’m thrilled beyond description to read “Huntington's disease successfully treated for first time”
