I would add crisis of essence too. We more easily grasp “image bearing” categorically but then we have too much baggage & spend too much energy discussing maleness/femaleness fused with the functional outward expressions/roles. What is our essence - to bear God’s image as a male and as a female?

Yes, crisis of telos! I don’t think it is because education is “gendered” feminine. It’s just that men have checked out from spaces and conversations where they will be told how they are lacking and/or failing.
