I agree the PM needs a well equipped plane at his disposal with all the security measures. He travels throughout the world representing Canada.

Not so sure about Premiers. I’d want to know how often they travel outside the population corridors.

The Cabinet approved this? JFC every Cabinet member should be asked how they voted and why? 🤬

Does that mean there is French arrest system for him? Could the French govt ask Interpol to put out a red notice?

How did Doug Ford spend $28.9 million without any oversight? On a jet plane is atrocious BUT when did Premiers get the authority to spend $28.9 million on anything without oversight?

DRAMA: Poilievre Picks Fight With Carney & HUMILIATES Himself YouTube video by Claus Kellerman POV

Poilievre shared his "ideas" to a perpetually nodding head in an interview. Here's the fact-check from Claus Kellerman. Let's encourage the other MPs to voice this.

Need weekly updates on this. Also need to know who he bought it from, who the broker will be to sell it and if sold will he lease it back from the ‘friend’ who buys it.

No, Canadians Did Not Vote for a Minority Parliament It isn't a civics error. It's a disinformation strategy. And it will haunt Canadian governance all the way to 2029.

Have a read...it is very intentional f#/*ery

Maybe the Ontario Conservative Party should be sued for any losses as that is who was going to benefit from the jet.

JFC how tone deaf is this man? Keep on this as it will cost probably a couple million in brokers fees to sell it.
Perhaps he needs to take a page out of Mamdani’s book and take a walk down Yonge Street. Although he probably follows the 5Ws We Won’t Walk Will We.

Last time I saw Stuart McLean was at Danceland. Danceland at Manitou Beach in Sk has the famous horsehair floor. He has a story Morley and Dave dancing on that floor. We weren’t dancing but we sure were enjoying his warm, sensitive, very funny humour.

Opinion: Electric buses not right fit for Canadian winters the Liberals’ electric bus rollout is falling short of good public policy, writes the MP for Regina-Wascana.

While MP Michael Kram has a political agenda for his comments, he hasn’t done his research. The question is why do Norway and Sweden use electric buses successfully in cities above the Arctic Circle and Regina can’t’? thestarphoenix.com/opinion/opin...

Even for Europe’s populist firebrands, Trump is going too far The symbiosis between the president and European nationalists has reached a potential breaking point as he issues genocidal rhetoric and criticizes the pope.

trump has become too toxic for #Europe

trump is 78% *unfavourable* in #France, 86% in #Germany, 80% in #Italy

73% of Europeans view trump as a threat to peace and security in Europe, just 9 points behind Putin’s 82%

Lotsa DM’s asking what people can do to hold Smith to account…

Anyways, on an unrelated note, her radio show is back Saturday at 10 AM.

Well just uh…

We’ll just leave this here.

What's happening to healthcare in Alberta is potentially coming for all of us in Canada. Insurance companies will want this everywhere, and there doesn't seem to be much protecting Canada and its citizens at a federal level, @mark-carney.bsky.social. It's legitimately upending. #CdnPoli #CanPoli

Send him to Israel. After what he did to Pope Francis and Victoria Orban, might get a good result.

Maybe tell Albertans to oppose the UCP and Bill 11. Carney is not the provincial Premiers daddy. Time for voters to find capable Premiers who are dedicated to the health and welfare of their citizens. Provincial govts are the weakest link in the system. Only voters can change that.

On this day in 2002, four Canadian soldiers (Marc Léger, Ainsworth Dyer, Richard Green, Nathan Smith) were killed and another eight were injured in Kandahar when an American Air National Guard pilot dropped a bomb on their location after mistaking the Canadians for hostile forces

We’ve had a community mail box since 1985 as do new subdivision since then. We get very little in our box that is ‘real’ mail. There are financial/legal documents that by law require they be mailed. Govts could help by revising laws that duplicate what is available in electronic form.

Over on Twitter, Greg Clark, former leader of the Alberta Party and Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission committee member shared his thoughts on the UCP's failure to act on the recommendations of the Commission.

He was one of the most reasonable politicians I've ever worked with. Worth a look.
