Every single publisher has a number of flops under their belt. Baffling that people think their game would somehow not be thrown into that pile. It's almost like the publisher doesn't decide the trajectory of your game whatsoever.

Definitely one of the biggest ongoing scams in the industry atm.

I hate it when someone picks up a publisher and their game does well, so they shout out their publisher for doing such incredible work, as if that wasn't going to be the outcome without them.

It's akin to someone surviving surgery and the patient saying "thank God". What about the surgeon?

When this is brought up, there's always some publishers that rush to imply that they're not like "those other guys" when, in fact, they are. By virtue of being a publisher, they are.

Checked in on Twitter out of curiosity. Yep, still have the blue checkmark. I paid for it for one month for advertising purposes then blocked them from charging my card ever again because I couldn't find out how to cancel.

It's apparently coded so badly that I now just get to have it for free.

Deep voice, huh? Must be fake! Nobody ever changes the tone of their voice unless they're faking it to impress girls. Come on, Olexa. Everyone knows that. You can tell because I'm typing this with a deep voice to impress any girls who may happen to read it.

"I’ve found that the best way to dominate a market is to create it," said Sneaky Panda CEO and co-founder Ron Rejwan.

Motherfucker, you didn't do literally any of the things you're gloating about. You are absolutely doing the thing you say everyone else is doing, and you know it.

What a bitch.

The smugness and utter insanity of some of the quotes in the article is maddening.

"The mobile gaming market is saturated with companies that are trying to make better versions of existing products, but our approach at Sneaky Panda is to introduce the ‘luck-puzzler’ genre, a completely new genre"

I challenge all game devs to play their games at default settings with 100% Windows Volume. If it's too loud, you now understand what people suffer when they open your game for the first time so please for the love of everything, start with your game volume being low by default instead.

I don't think to include this because it feels like a given. Most games aren't using AI, but now you have me wondering if I really need to start going out of my way to mention it as an aside or something.

I haven't had poor success reaching out to content creators as is, but I wonder all the same.

It's also not why it's selling badly. You don't see any change in sales until Mixed. A lot of people think Mostly Positive is better than Very Positive, even, just because of how it's worded.

Looks cool. I like the variance. You could've easily just done generic hallways with a different coat of paint with not much going on in them, but you've went above and beyond and that's awesome.

Equally annoying is feedback in the form of a negative review. If that feedback is then addressed, the negative review often stays regardless. Pretty cool stuff.

PSA: Nomad Idle will never be available on mobile (Android/iOS). Some bad actors have stolen the game and uploaded. If you bought the game on mobile, leave a review saying it's a scam and reach out to Apple/Google for refund.

Apple is pretty much refusing to take them down. Terrible company.

Hey, I was trying to find a way to reach out to you privately but couldn't find one. I'm releasing Nomad Idle on April 4th and was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a bundle.

I didn't realize Raid Auctus was coming out so soon!

--certified officially would be a nightmare, especially as AI improves and becomes harder to detect. What if Steam got it wrong? Or what if Steam certified a game, then a dev added in AI stuff later? It's impossible to maintain on the sheer scale of games that exist on Steam.
