I don’t usually put a timeline in my manuscripts until a second or third draft. This is when I find out that my characters eat three dinners in one day or don’t sleep for two days or talk to someone at a bank on a Sunday.

When it comes to wine, I’m completely ignorant. If you blindfolded me, I couldn’t tell the difference between red, white, and pink (which is just red and white mixed, right?).

There was an article in the New York Times decrying Americans’ shrinking attention span/lack of concentration and how it was negatively affecting cognition. At least I think that’s what the article was about; I just skimmed part of it.
