So Easter and bunnies go together?
The one from A Dark Whimsy by @glawackus.bsky.social
would perhaps be a better fit for Halloween.

In case you’re in the market for some bunny-related literature …
A dark whimsy by DS Lalonde
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a book! Dark, twisted, hilarious!
Haunting dreams of a bunny were not in my 2026 plans.
Thank you for reading A Dark Whimsy! So glad you enjoyed it!!
I’m not kidding when I tell you that the new Anaconda movie is really entertaining. Super funny.
You don’t believe me, but that’s okay.
Best movie quote ever? Thanks for asking. It’s perhaps this:
“Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

A Dark Whimsy is a contemporary dark fantasy tale of horror and magical realism with protagonists blundering through a forest full of monsters on a quest they aren’t even sure exists.

Now that it’s assembled, the big question is whether the cats will ever show any interest in this cat tower ever again.

Sometimes even big fancy award-nominated books turn into DNFs and I wonder what other people saw that I totally missed.

This novella by @michaelshotter.com is a very quick and enjoyable read. Certainly worth checking out!!👇👇
This is really dumb (on purpose) but surprisingly entertaining.
Posted some favorite books of 2025 on Instagram and forgot to add King Sorrow.
Felt bad for a minute, then realized Joe Hill will probably be fine even without my endorsement.
Anyway, for the record, I enjoyed King Sorrow.
So, I’ve got this going for me …
A copy of my newest book is for sale on EBay for almost twice its cover price.
I can’t figure out the business model that makes that work.
Thanks for the shout out!!
Did you know that DS LaLonde has a new release focusing on horror and magical realism? Meanwhile, "A Bleak Remedy" was one of @michaelshotter.com's favorite reads of 2025 with its unique and detailed take on vampires. Check them out, #booksky! 👇🩸📚💙

A fantasy/adventure novella for everyone. When James journeys to Dreamland, not only does he experience exciting adventures but learns important life lessons as well, like setting goals and to never give up. A perfect gift for this Christmas season.

Your Favorite Scary Movie by Ashley Cullins
A great book for fans of the Scream movies.
Behind the scenes story of how the movies were made, with plenty of insights from the cast and crew. Super interesting.
Looking at the cast of Scream 7, I can’t help but be a little suspicious of Ethan Embry being a villain.
We went to see Sisu: Road to Revenge today. Just like the first movie, this was highly entertaining. Sure some suspension of disbelief is in order, but that doesn’t detract from the fun.
It’s as if Wolverine was in a John Wick Mad Max western set around World War II.
