I have spent 25 years monitoring college student tobacco use trends. A whole generation has been enticed to vape and now use nicotine pouches because flavors were added to tobacco products. Only the FDA & CDC stood between Big Tobacco and our children. I see a very unhealthy future.

This would be laughable if it weren’t so horrendous. I emailed Cassidy first to beg him not to confirm RFK, Jr., and then to ask him how he’s feeling now. Received exact same letter with his justification for approving him. Cassidy’s staff is protecting him from our outrage.

Repeat after me. Trump is a lame duck. Trump is a lame duck. Trump is a lame duck. (At least repeat every time something about a third term is mentioned.)

I want the Democrats to stand up for Biden instead of letting Trump’s insults stand. The disrespect is astounding. It’s as if Biden did nothing as President!

I want to know how Trump can scream during the meeting with Zelensky that Biden is stupid and then Vance says Zelensky is disrespectful and should be thanking Trump!

Contract for Landry's temporary homeless shelter went to politically connected firm • Louisiana Illuminator The contractor Gov. Jeff Landry has hired to set up a temporary homeless shelter in New Orleans is charging the state far more than a comparable city plan would have cost.

Gov. Jeff Landry will pay $16 million to one of his cronies to house 200 homeless people for three months. That's $80,000 a person, enough to set up each person in an apartment for seven years. lailluminator.com/2025/01/16/l...
