I’d also look past the muddy production if the tunes were solid, but alas, they weren’t. It did get better in the second half, but only from tolerable to “okay I can add this to my library” better. It’s nothing bad. Just nothing memorable either.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t like this album very much. Maybe I got my hopes up with an album title like ‘Quest for Blood’, but this didn’t hit for me nearly as much as I wanted. It felt very low energy and timid, like it kept teasing something bigger that never comes.
