Shadow stares at sonic with a blank expression, his usual glare. His finger taps as he places the menu on the table. Sonic meanwhile yaps, "You told me to just pick a place so I figured this place since it's new--And smells great each time I run by! I like texmex but you never tried it. I know you like cheese, though, so maybe it won't be too outta your wheelhouse-- I'm glad you're willin' to try it, but I guess this place is a little fancier than I expected, haha. If you don't like it I'll finish your plate so you don't feel like it's a waste, okay?" Sonic doesn't realize that shadow is admiring Sonic's embarrassed smirk. Shadow notes, "How cute" to himself, looking at the way Sonic's muzzle smooches itself with his smile and how his nose wrinkles up. Sonic is none the wiser in the second panel, admitting, "Guess that's on me for not lookin. at the menu first... Kinda pricey huh? I can pay ya back, okay?" He says this with the same cute expression, his nose curled and his finger scratching his head in nervousness.

Sonic leans back, putting his arms behind his head and relaxing. He puts his leg up on the chair and uses his other leg to lean the chiar back, pushing against Shadow's chair, in a bit of a flirty gesture, saying, "By the way, since you're prob'ly tired from your GUN missions, we can save the race for next time. How 'bout we just head to my place to digest, play some games, maybe watch a movie?" Shadow blanky responds, "We'll see." As sonic continues, "Tails is staying over a friend's" but he emphasizes, "so we can turn it up real loud, get rowdy, make a mess." Shadow raises the menu to cover his cheeks, which turn red, understanding the remark and implication. He responds with a cold "I see." Sonic, relaxed as ever, doesn't stop pushing, even as Shadow clenches his fist and taps his heel, impatiently... "I'll let you choose the movie. You already know I like high octane action-- don't wimp out with somethin' slow, okay?" Shadow says nothing, only thinking to himself, "Where's that DAMN waiter?!" But he still doesn't tell Sonic to stop.

This was suppose to be a warm up...

Anyway, I like when Sonic makes this kinda face or squishes his face/body up in weird poses.

I guess they like to push each other's buttons lol. Sonic probably wonders when Shadow's planning to tell him to shut up or kick him.

Sonic and shadow are walking together and suddenly Sonic says "did you know that your eyes are like roses?" And shadow seems to be a bit surprised.

Shadow suddenly walks away from sonic with not saying any word. And sonic asks him "wait where are you going?" But shadow doesn't answer.

Sonic is confused, not knowing why shadow just left, but we see why. Shadow is very surprised and frustrated his face is all red, blushing. And I think he is falling in love.
