I can say this with some assurance - this apartment complex wants more information for a lease than the us government wanted for a security clearance.
Which is... you know... kind of weird.

Now the geese are flying at me from distances of 40 feet.
...mind you, I have done absolutely nothing to these birds, and seek to actively avoid them.
Some Canadian Geese seem to be nesting in the parking lot, and have taken to chasing after me as I walk by, which is... an experience, certainly.
Sadly (or is it?) it seems there will be no house of the infinite burrito.
My main impression is... well, that's unfortunate. Not, overpay 10% on the house unfortunate, but you know... not as good as it might be.
An artist I happened to be a fan of was doing a live auction of a sketch they'd done. They're well known, but there was doodle they'd done recently that I'd rather liked, and it was one of the items they were selling.
The price? 10x what I was prepared to pay.
so... yeah...
That didn't happen.
3) If I instead put the money in a risk free interest bearing account, and then drew from that, I could effectively order this meal every day for eternity.
Should I end up buying the place, I'm thinking of calling it the "House of the infinite burrito".
And as I ate my meal, a few thoughts came to mind
1) This was a lot of food. Almost certainly I'd be eating the rest of this as my meal for the day later in the week.
2) At $10, I could, instead of buying the house I'd been looking at, order this meal every day for the next 115 years.
Earlier this week, because I hadn't had one in years, I went to a "greasy spoon" style local mexican restaurant. The kind of place that has different names and owners, but the same menu at every location (so similar that I could order the same combination dinner number, by memory).
A company just emailed me with a special limited time promotional discount that was a significantly worse deal than a promotion that they were already running.
...I don't think it works that way?
This message brought to you by sheer pointless persistence.
Along the way I decided to complete the set in Arena. 4 of every standard card, 1 of every Commander only card. It seemed a good place to stop.
And it's finally done.
I'm FREE! FREE I TELL YOU!
When MTG did the Final Fantasy set, I figured... what the heck, and bought the commander decks. And then, since I don't often have a chance to play in person, I picked up Arena again to play the decks, or as close as I could, in brawl.

Took a look at the foot I'd twisted. ...Wow. That is a bruise. That is a realllly big bruise.
The complex where I've lived for many year has rescinded its renewal offer because... I make too much money, apparently.
::sigh::
"It's warm, after work I'll go for a bike ride."
I proceed to torque the crap out of my ankle getting my bike out.
...I cannot help but feel that my attempts at a healthy activity have tragically backfired.
I beat the main quest of Mario Odyssey thanks to the snow day. And when the post game content opened up, it was as if I found myself hanging over and endless chasm. A pit so deep that even light could not escape. And I closed the game, and declared it done.
I just received notice of a class action settlement... the day after the deadline for registering for / objecting to the settlement.
The lawsuit itself was suspicious, and with this, I strongly suspect someone is trying to game the system.
I just got sent a spam email by... cjsfresh2death@<popular email provider>
...I almost feel insulted by the lack of craft.
There's text throughout the game that's eventually revealed to be a letter to an ex, and so the lines may be, and do work as a conclusion to that letter.
But it seems unnecessarily confusing. Like the reconciliation voice line was added in afterwards.
Much ado was made about the plot, which details the formation, and then dissolution of a relationship. Curiously, the last spoken lines indicate perhaps a rekindling, but the last written lines, which follow, seem a denial, but may be set chronologically before the spoken lines?
Ran through Maquette (it's very short).
A peculiar game that rarely holds you hand. Some puzzles just feel unfair, like a hidden third necessary item, or jumping puzzles when the jump is... anemic, most of the time.
I probably don't like the game enough to play back through right away with a different class to try and get the text blurbs. But it's kinda cool that it's an option, I guess.
I'm also curious what failing some of the contracts would do... plot wise that is.
The game adds missions you can select party members for, some of which have character specific blurbs of text. This was annoying for mechanical reasons, because the party member I liked least was the best fit for the class I'd chosen.

I somewhat ill-advisedly marathoned Citizen Sleeper 2.
It's perhaps not as good as the first one, but I enjoyed my time with it, and I'm sad to hear that the creator doesn't intend to do another one.
The setting is a beautiful playground for the mind.
I've now seen so many groups of media enthusiasts conspiracy theory about a forthcoming "secret" final episode that will patch what they view as a failed ending that I kind of want to see a show actually do it, if only to be really funny.
The Blue Prince has some really nifty puzzles, but they are bolted to a Rogue-lite framework that absolutely does not respect the player's time. I "beat" the game, but have seemingly only scratched the surface, but I think our time together has come to an end.
TastyBite's Vegetable Biryani bowls are the very definition of... "technically, it's food".
Visually stunning, but the higher frame (I assume) can cause a bad case of soap opera effect. Combined with the 3D, it can seem like a video game.
Probably better than Avatar 2.
I'm curious to see where they go from here.
On finding the heat broken, once again, I would, not for the first time, remark to myself that I must get out of this place.
I really quite liked it.
