If Trump’s now fine with Iran charging for access to the Straits of Hormuz, perhaps we could get in on the action with the Strait of Dover. A little toll booth on the Goodwin Sands.

Visited Golborne Rd a couple of weeks ago on a trip to Notting Hill as I wanted to see the Trellick Tower. I was surprised to see what a vibrant attractive atmosphere it has.

I’m exhibiting at @sparksbristol as part of @bristolgalleryweekend from today 19th to 22 March where I’m featuring two of my most popular print works, “Alice Coltrane” and “Banana Bridge, Bristol”. They are mounted and framed and could be yours for the very reasonable sum of £45 each!

Well, what a week in terms of recognition of my work. First a great review from @andywpoliver @brokenfrontier and then a showing of one of my top selling works “Whooo Are You?” On Insta by the @theaoi .

It really was Andy, best thing in my new career since I graduated. I know you’ve got your caring responsibilities and that you have to put up with a lot of negative stuff from editing Broken Frontier but your comments really made my day. Thank you so much.

I was doing my weekly volunteering at the local library when this came up. I didn't get the context until I got home. Hilarious, nice one!

The Colossive Cartography Series 12 is now complete including “A Fragile Obsession” by my own fair hand concerning what happens when an EBay studio glass habit gets out of control.

Another Porto memory. My friend and travel buddy went back to the flat for some rest so I took a walk along the Gaia riverbank and stopped at the Sandeman Port Lodge and terrace bar. There were no spare tables and a very friendly Irish-Canadian lady called Mary offered me a seat at her table.

Had a great time @cmyk.festival yesterday despite getting up at stupid o clock to catch three different trains. Lovely to see @stonelyonly and @mandyrolandsmith @colossivepress - got your inspirational advice cards on my stall to anyone who wants one.

I like the idea of the theme, it’s very psycgeographic and has a tube station in it. Very me, I’ll buy it.

Currently watching The Pretenders on Top of the Pops - a timely reminder that a lot of good things come out from Hereford including @cmyk.festival where I will be tabling on Nov 6th. Get your spending trousers on and come and say “Hello”. #cmykfestival #hereford #herefordcollegeofarts #

For my architecturally minded friends. We’ve just bought Monty a new scratching post. I thought it looked modernist but where in modernism do you get flying buttresses? Asking for a friend….

Must go and see this when we get some good weather. It would make a great linocut. Thanks.

Totally agree. BBC 1 totally dumbed down, BBC2 & 4 reliant on repeats with BBC 4 stripped of much of the arts content which originally made it such a good channel. I can’t comment on BBC 3 as I accept that it isn’t really for my age demographic.

👀 We're just a couple of weeks away from launching our 70th (!) Colossive Cartography. Among its many talking points, this one has the longest title yet.

A collage inspired by my recent holiday in Porto, Portugal - a lively and beautiful city of amazing coloured buildings and street art. It’s great to get back into collage again, finding a use for all the old photocopies I made at art college. So look forward to a few more porto images to come.
