Oregon just stepped up. The Immigrant Justice Package protects families, expands legal support, and draws a line against federal overreach. This is what it looks like to fight for each other. Thank you, Governor Kotek.
In case someone needs to hear this today...

We need a new political home in Oregon. Where working people hold the power and are able to govern their communities. We’re building that political home!
Our monthly statewide meeting connects people from rural and urban communities all across Oregon.

Healthy communities start with access to care. Protecting the Healthier Oregon Program ensures more families across our state can access the healthcare they need.
Healthcare should never come with fear. SB 1570 helps ensure families can seek medical care when they need it without worrying about immigration consequences.
Communities know their needs best. SB 1594 establishes the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Advancement so immigrant voices help guide the policies that affect their lives.
Due process matters. Expanding access to legal representation helps ensure families navigating immigration court have a fair chance to defend their rights. At the same time, the Children’s Stability Fund helps keep kids supported and families together during difficult moments.
Access to food should never depend on immigration status. Oregon expanded food assistance so refugee and immigrant families can meet basic needs and stay healthy.
I am so thrilled to announce that I’ve been endorsed by @owfp.bsky.social. I could not be more proud to join their slate of working class candidates bringing real fight to this state.

Poster with Ky's face on black background. Orange and white text reads "Oregon Working Families Party Endorses State Representative District 7 Ky Fireside"
As the establishment continues to disappoint and horrify, I'm proud to be endorsed by @workingfamilies.org @owfp.bsky.social (Oregon Working Families Party).
Dozens of organizations across Oregon came together to support the 2026 Immigrant Justice Package. When communities organize and build coalitions, we can win policies that protect families and strengthen our state.
Food security is essential for healthy communities. Oregon protected SNAP so families can continue to rely on food assistance when they need it most.
Families shouldn’t have to worry that their personal information could be used against them. SB 1587 strengthens protections for how sensitive data is handled in Oregon & helps keep communities safe. This is what it looks like when lawmakers listen to the people & protect our neighbors.
The 2026 Immigrant Justice Package passed because communities organized, advocates pushed, & families refused to be ignored. This is what happens when we stand together for dignity, safety, & belonging.
Masked federal agents have raided homes, targeted workers, and forced schools into lockdown across Oregon. Hundreds of families have been torn apart.
Our legislators have the power to act. The 2026 Immigrant Justice Package keeps families safe, healthy, and together.

Oregon is staring down $700M+ in cuts because of Trump tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy.
That’s schools, health care, housing, food assistance on the chopping block.
This isn’t inevitable. It’s a choice.
