I see other people doing amazing things and having great lives and great experiences, and I wonder how someone makes that happen. This is not jealousy, just honestly wondering. Money has to be a lot of it, I expect there is more at play too. This X factor is something I lack.

Moving tomorrow, staying in middle Tennessee, need to be closer to me people. It has been stressful, I'm top of the other stresses of the last several months, and I have leaned more into Buddhism to help me through it, ready for what lies ahead now and still trying to improve my mental peace.

I agree with liking the things you like without shame as an adult though, we all should get to be happy.

That is a nice collection. I try to avoid too much stuff just to look at though, some art and a few small things I feel fine with. I don't want to go overboard with it.

I'm getting everything packed for my upcoming move, torn between thinking 'I have too much stuff' and thinking 'is this pile all that will remain when I'm gone from this life?'.

I'm not a hard core minimalist, but I also try to avoid junk, clutter, and things I don't use mostly.
