Just back from Undertone. I had heard it had a great opening weekend, and while I love supernatural horror flicks, this one really left me dozing. Idk if it’s cuz I’m not a podcast listener, but neither the story nor the characters grabbed me. I found it very dull 👎🏻
#NowWatching A Gunfight (1971) #Tubi I always wondered what that clip in the #JohnnyCash music video for "Hurt" was. Turns out it's from his first acting performance in a film. I'm not much of a purely-dramatic-western guy, but I couldn't help myself when I found it on Tubi.
Started playing this Zelda inspired top down action adventure game, and while I adore the pixel art and the challenge from the ever-growing enemy variance, it has no gradual puzzle difficulty. The dreadful sokoban puzzles really halted the progression flow. I'm now playing it with a puzzle guide.
Been slowly chipping away at a board for the #comicart of #JimStarlin, and I just discovered his work on the early 70’s sci-fi/fantasy comic Star*Reach 👀 It’s fabulous 🔥

I played #StrangeAntiquities for 6 hrs yesterday. I’ve felt this since the previous game, but the land of Undermere should be expanded into something more (i.e. comics, live-action, short fiction, etc.). It might not be the most well known IP, but there’s some serious potential here.

Saw this earlier today. Poster by @alisonreeve.bsky.social Maybe I just didn’t hear/see much hype and only a few odd opinions, but I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Beautiful imagery, entertaining character choices and though it might sound like an insult, the over-the-top performances made me laugh.
