Really the great thing is this is something I can do on a fairly massive repo in a weekend now.

This isn't an indictment of stretchr/testify btw, I think assert and require should have been folded into the standard library a long time ago, BUT I do hate stretchr/testify/mock with a passion, and I do think that shoenig/test is quite nice.

I felt confident doing this migration because I spent the last week or so getting Codecov set up, so I know exactly what is and isn't covered. I won't be merging a PR that reduces coverage, nor will I be merging a PR that includes stretchr/testify.

trying this thing where I have Claude completely swap out stretchr/testify/mock for @matryer.bsky.social's moq and shoenig/test instead of the rest of stretchr/testify

i've got every significant figure in MAGA term-blocked on here for my own sanity, but i am morbidly curious to know how alex jones feels about trump saying he deserved to lose his fortune for lying about sandy hook

biscuits and gravy is so funny because it's America's closest culinary example to the British and everytime a brit looks at it, they reflexively gag, but then they nut when they eat it. and what are you gonna do, call it savory scones in gravy? just doesn't hit the same.

No joke this little app would have been an 8-12 week nice to have that would have ultimately been shelved about ten months ago. Claude meant I could have it in hours. What a time to be alive.

Today at work was cool. We turned on my caching experiment in San Antonio, and I got to build a quick little visualization tool showing our cache rate on the map.

was certain this was a tile mosaic

My brothers and sisters in christ, >60% of these requests are wholly cacheable. Not partial cell matches, complete request matches.

We thought we'd hit something like 25%-ish cache rate for all cells, and probably see zero whole requests indicate as cacheable, because we typically deal with very big sets of completely unpredictable data.
