It's not being locked after a single report and we clear these things pretty fast. If accounts falsely report things they also get strikes against them.

Some of the other comments i read about this aren't quite correct. This would fall under copyright, so patents (design or not) wouldn't really matter.

If sending the letter has no effect, you will have to get a lawyer and think if you want to take the effort of court action

The start is always: I am not a lawyer.

But if you feel that someone is infringing on your copyright, the best option is to start off with a cease and desist message or file a DMCA request.

Probably true. We've setup protections against this type of scraping, but these bots keep finding ways to circumvent our protections :(

It also greatly depends on *how* you add them. Cura ads the modifier meshes in a way that you can delete them in all other slicers. Prusa ads them (last i checked) in a way that you cant. Bambu doesn't even use the default 3MF implementation (which is why it plays so badly with the others)

When you unzip the 3MF it's not converting it to STL. But 3MF and stl are both surface meshes.

Under the hood, Bambu is just converting the step to STL. So when it says "Higher resolution" it is flat out lying to you.

There is a small bug in the caching with that, but we will fix that soon!
