I've found that having a time limit helps me really focus on what i'm doing, so i've started doing 30 minute art sessions which has been a nice change of pace. Anyways here's skong. #silksong #hollowknight

Sometimes game development is coding a system for fog of war, then realizing that it’s getting bottlenecked by the cpu, and now you have to learn what a compute shader is and you’ve already spent way more time on this than you should have. So I’ll be showing off my work “soon”

I would simplify the shapes, particularly the beard, maybe making it rounder and puffier. Though it depends on the tone and style you're aiming for.

If the character spends 99% of the time far from the camera, all of the detail in the beard may as well not be there.
