I've been playing a lot. I've got to start za now so I can try mega delphox though which is kind of stinky.

I emailed them a little while ago about cards that were missing from the card vault but never got a reply

I wasn't quite a new player but hadn't played much vynnset for a while and I posted in purple like a week before June's calling run like "these new cards seem good how have they changed things" and the response was
"Just put the cards in your deck"
"People are acting like this is brain surgery"

I found this with decks winning/doing well at callings a while ago as soon as they get to like 500+ points I start wanting the people playing my favourite heroes to lose because it means they'll go away sooner and then at best I'll get a replacement that feels very different to play

Sometimes they bring the level right down by banning loads of shit (we could occasionally make it so decks like azalea and enigma that have never really been playable in LL are playable by banning a lot of heroes and cards)
But most of the time we'd be somewhere in the middle

They manually set the power level by saying you can only play certain guys in certain formats
Roughly once every game cycle they say you can play the guys who are on the game boxes and stronger than all the other guys (chane starvo skeleta system reset etc)

It also gives them a way to bring the power level right down sometimes and let the azalea/enigma fans have fun

I'm a big believer in a version of LL with something close to Pokémon VGC regulations so every so often people can play with chane and starvo with new toys then the rest of the time other decks can enjoy the cards they got banned

I really miss LL and I'm really sad they didn't put the time in to make it good

I was thinking about this the other day and I think I'd like to see a version that banished 2 cards face down as an additional cost then it can only be used to improve your card quality rather than just have 6 extra cards

Yeah this I what I was thinking when I saw the announcement this morning. I may as well just buy non foils now. My CF and convention box reaping blades can just live in my binder next to my cf eclipse I guess

Actually James White never announced we'd be allowed to use our old cards

This might be why I didn't recognise the card the first time I saw it

Need to get as many (Copies) on stream as possible

The more time I spend playing fab the less I appreciate the LL system it really does feel like the worst bits of every kind of rotation

Feels crazy to me that we have all these random promos on the card vault already but still no convention box or tournament pack cards
