Hell yes. New Genghis Tron inbound. Dream Weapon and Board Up The House are classics.

NASA mission control's science teams positively gyrating as they ask Integrity for details about solar corona shapes and meteor impacts on the dark side of the Moon:
Great new music over the past few weeks from Actress/Suzanne Ciani, Lantlôs, Neurosis, Poison Ruïn, ULTHA - it's all too much. I only have so much time! #MusicSky
motionward.bandcamp.com/album/the-moth
The lowlight, murmured slowcore on Cancer House's new ep The Moth is giving me what I need these days. Pitched somewhere between Mogwai's more introspective moments and Raime’s quiet menace, these 6 songs pull you into a stunning nighttime ambience.
Oh lordy. Another 'my writing isn't political' dude? How do nominally intelligent people come out with this nonsense?
Yes, I know. By having an identity & politics that perfectly align with their society's power structures. Frictionless comfort all the way. But really. Come the fuck on. 🙄

Seeing Project Hail Mary at Seattle’s SIFF Cinema Downtown was a completely dope experience. An awesome restored theater, a great movie, and a cool crowd.

Wow, sadness live on KEXP!
bosse-de-nage.bandcamp.com/album/hidden...
Spending A LOT of time with Bosse-de-Nage's new album Hidden Fires Burn Hottest. Love the rolling Steve Shelley-esque drums and the way the guitars shift textures while maintaining a killer post black metal/post-hardcore intensity. An amazing return.
portrayalofguilt.bandcamp.com/album/beginn... Digging the first songs off the upcoming Portrayal of Guilt album Beginning of the End. Turning sideways from blackened screamo, "Human Terror" and "Ecstasy" are a caustic pile-up between noise and nu-metal. Really looking forward to the full-length.
nondi.bandcamp.com/track/broken... Nondi_'s second self-titled album on Planet Mu is really good. Its blend of corroded ambience, gauzy IDM and lo-fi footwork works for so many moods. "Broken Future 175" is a highlight with stuttering jungle saturated in a dappled vibe. Well worth a listen.

Burst out laughing and snorting when I read that the manipulative jerk hedge-fund husband in 'Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage" loves Dinosaur Jr.
coldlovegang.bandcamp.com/album/blades...
Black metal Romantics Selvnatt and Draugveil's new album Blades & Roses is great. It's pocket-sized metal sublimity strewn together with an anguished, but still kinda cozy atmosphere. Just in time for chilling on Valentine's Day!
samshackleton.bandcamp.com/album/euphor...
With Bandcamp embeds now back, I'm happy to say I'm really enjoying Shackleton's latest Euphoria Bound. His sound is still a swirling mass of psychedelic grooves, but this time around, it's a more accessible and engaging trip around the globe and beyond.
That LIMBS album is awesome.
fascists can’t really grasp the power of minimal techno
Possible new release(s) from Magogaio in 2026. The drum and bass/black metal/trip-hop continuum marches on. This band rules and absolutely deserves more attention for their head spinning cross genre genius.

Starting off the New Year with some spooky blackened death rock from Nourishment. Nice basslines and icy, dread-filled vibes.

ninatahec.bandcamp.com/album/ninata...
⋆。°✩✧NINATAHEC✧✩°。, the sweet punk-ish pop project from Damián Ojeda (Trhä, sadness, etc.) now has a batch of songs up on Bandcamp that I believe (?) were previously only available through his Patreon. Grab this for NYP and bring some light to your life!
muzaneditions.bandcamp.com/album/flow-a...
Very much enjoying Flow and Fracture, a serenely unfolding ambient release from Jo Johnson. A nice reflection of the enveloping nature of drift and drone.
Looking forward to the 12-23 premiere of this recording of Nirvana's 1992 show in Honolulu

This is a great diverse year end list that features laid back psych, 70s-style street proto-punk, and just plain weird black metal. Some truly awesome stuff on here.

barbelith.bandcamp.com/album/barbel...
New Barbelith/Trhä split rules. Barbelith is focused and crushing with fury and majesty. Trhä, well, this takes to their sound to a blistering, almost classical level. Members of both projects wrote, recorded & performed on each track apparently. More please!
