CK Samson's stunning Shardlake series. I still haven't recovered from Tombland.

Chuckleberry FROM MY PLOT. Or cucumber. But round here it could be whatever as long as beet sugar is involved.

Unilever have already quite fucked it. The Swiss version is very good though.

@willtullett.bsky.social Will is bang on. I (obvs) can give you a great more detail but essentially post war, US influenced, done on the 4 days of british summer, tediously gendered & usually burnt & raw at the same time. It has become bigger with longer summers & even more US influence.

They have asked if I am up for being on their rota and I very enthusiastically agreed, so fingers crossed.

Ha ha ha. No, true. But I can go to my Toppings for that. And more books. I may have a book problem.

They deliver...!! But there are others. I like Mr Bs as they are an actual bookshop so it supports the high street, plus it is very tailored and not just a generic box.

Book subscription where he gets to fill in the questionnaire to his own requirements? Empowering and long lasting? Loads about - though I love Mr B's.

It may be in Shakespeare & Co - but they stick the price on to cover their own costs. HANG ON...thinks.... - i signed a copy in a bookshop in Vancouver so it must be stocked in ca a bit. And it was normal price.

BBC / Sony licensing issues - keep hassling them! We would LOVE it to be back available worldwide.

I was fulminating at the salted caramel one in Waitrose earlier in the week. But this sounds even worse.

I plan to have a 'NO AI WAS USED (apart from on pxx and you will totally see why)'* label on my current (also 3 year) project. Ditto on the underpants.

*I include a sentence it gave me precisely because I knew it would be bollocks & wanted to prove a point. Which I do.

I will lay a very certain wager that neither of the Tims were on that day. Answers always depend upon the panel.

Oh dear, I'm mildly obsessed with Trieste, despite never having been, thanks to the Jan Morris book on it, which I loved.
