Fun way to find out Flikr still exists.
Miller looks like he was photo shopped in.

Really appreciate this good news about the fight against the insanity at the current EPA. Thanks to @jeremysymons.bsky.social.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin caught by @cbsnews.com hiding EPA's own forecast that gas prices will go up for consumers by 76 cents/gallon due to elimination of pollution and fuel economy standards for automobiles. @jeremysymons.bsky.social

There’s another scandal buried in the Trump-Republican budget plan that’s not getting enough attention: massive giveaways to Big Oil.
Trump’s EPA aims to roll back 30+ environmental rules.
AP’s analysis:
➡️ +25,000 deaths a year
➡️ +2.8B tons CO₂ by 2035
➡️ Billions in lost health benefits
The cost of reversing science-backed protections is deadly. Read the full AP story: buff.ly/WVyuJHU #SaveEPA
From @apnews.com: The EPA rules Trump is rolling back "could prevent an estimated 30,000 deaths and save $275 billion each year they are in effect," according to EPA's own studies + research from AP, @enviroprotnet.bsky.social, others

Outrageously bad journalism from @facethenation.bsky.social. EPA's Zeldin didn't answer the question on health impacts and CBS rewarded him with this headline. The real answer, based on EPA's OWN analysis: the rollbacks will cause 200,000 deaths and 100 MILLION asthma attacks. See EPAFacts.org.

The image is a screenshot of a tweet from Brandon Bradford (@BrandonLBradfor ). The tweet reads: "Deporting Americans without due process then saying they no longer get due process because they aren’t in America means no one has rights, FYI. Nightmare scenario."
If you think this can’t happen, remember that of the 125,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during WWII for years without charge or trial, two-thirds were U.S. citizens. Including me.
I still have almost 2,000 followers on X but for some reason my posts to my account, @EfDOGE, are getting only 20 views. Any idea what I am doing wrong? ;-)
The Trump administration has canceled funding for communities across the country to improve air & water quality, lower energy costs and protect against extreme weather, putting Americans’ health and safety at risk. Learn more ➡️ www.americanprogress.org/article/the-...
It's hard to fight chaos. Steve Bannon calls it "flooding the zone." To withstand any flood, we need to find high ground and make our stand. THE FIGHT TO SAVE EPA IS THE HIGH GROUND. Here are 4 things we must do to reclaim our right to breathe clean air and drink clean water.

To be clear, the $20 billion fraud claim is an outright lie. Even Trump's EPA Administrator, Lee Zeldin, has admitted that "there is zero reason to suspect any wrongdoing" and a federal prosecutor resigned rather than pursue a false allegattion. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
The math on this is scary. The only way to cut 65% of EPA funding is to cut EPA's clean drinking water grants to states. State grants account for about 40% of EPA's annual budget. Here's the thing: 60% of the clean water grants EPA gave out under Biden went to states that Trump won.
And then this attempted walk back from the White House: “After recently identifying $20 billion fraudulent in spending, Administrator Zeldin is committed to eliminating 65% of the EPA’s wasteful spending.” www.politico.com/news/2025/02...
First, to recap, here is a good story from CBS on what Trump said, including my take: "Trump said out loud what we have suspected all along: His agenda is to demolish the EPA. This is a wrecking ball approach that will throw the doors open to corporate polluters."

Following up on my posts yesterday on Trump letting the cat out of the bag that he wants to gut EPA by 65%, here's a look at the White House efforts at damage control ....
If you want to give money to someone fighting this, consider Environmental Protection Network or any other group fighting this insanity. EPN is a network of hundreds of former EPA staff who volunteer their time to make sure the public knows the facts. www.environmentalprotectionnetwork.org/donate/
And Speak Up! Most people get their news from people they know, on social media or otherwise. They aren't hearing about this. Let them know!
So what do WE do? If this pisses you off, as it should, let your members of congress know. The Trump Administration’s attacks on EPA are an unlawful overreach of presidential authority. EPA is funded by bipartisan appropriations bills. This is Congress' constitutional role. They are failing.
America’s bedrock environmental laws cannot be undone without congressional approval, which is why the Trump administration is instead focused on firing the people that put the laws into action.
This is why they are doing it: "We want their funding to be shut down so that the EPA can’t do all of the rules against our energy industry because they have no bandwidth financially to do so. We want to put them in trauma.”
www.environmentalprotectionnetwork.org/20241030_vou...
Despite having to deal with an ever-increasing array of environmental threats, EPA’s has fewer staff today than it had under President George W Bush. Gutting EPA will cost taxpayers more than they save by shutting down essential services that will have to be replaced.
Here's a map on where EPA is putting people to work across the country replacing lead pipes, cleaning up toxic contamination, and building clean water projects.
www.epa.gov/invest/inves...
EPA works cooperatively with ALL STATES and provides them $$ for clean water infrastructure, sewage projects, and environmental enforcement. The reason we have federal environmental laws is because everyone has a right to clean air and clean water. Without EPA, expect states to race to the bottom.
EPA protects people’s health by enforcing America’s environmental laws and setting science-based pollution standards for clean air and clean water. Without adequate EPA on the job, the air we breathe and the water we drink will be at greater risk from toxic pollution.
