Adding onto what they said for a little more detail, sellers typically use base10 (which is what we use to count).

(Mainly) Windows uses base2, which is counting in binary. 1GB in base2 would be 1024MB instead of 1000. A lot of other OSs have updated it to base10 but Microsoft has decided not to.
