Someone asked me what I would change about the gender balance rule! So, here's the rule.

It's pretty outdated. The terminology itself needs to be updated: "identify as" is very outdated language, the use of "male" and "female" is inappropriate, and it needs to *say* "non-binary."

When I worked for the city of Saint Paul and shit was hitting the fan, one of the other managers started microwaving cabbage every day as some sort of petty retaliation, but homie that impacted us all.

Fuck you Paul, I can still smell that nearly ten years later.

A Tortious Tour of Valleyfair! The winner will have the chance to go to the Valleyfair! amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota, with me. I'll pay for admission and mediocre food for up to two people. At the park, the winners can hear as much or as little as they want about the safety record of parks generally and Valleyfair! in particular. The park in fact has a very good safety record with very few incidents, so this will mostly be about things that happened at other parks. If preferred, this can instead be a trip to the park at the Mall of America, but really Valleyfair! is more fun. (It can also be a visit to the State Fair, though I’ll ride fewer things there—not out of concern for safety but because I just don’t do as many spinning rides these days.) Scheduling will be worked out with the winners but the visit will be sometime during 2026.
