Reminds me of when in my youth I turned vegetarian and suddenly had important and credible things to say about other people's food choices.

Sounds like the Dutch model. You ride your home bike to the train station and put it into the big lockup. When you get into the city you go grab your city bike for the rest of the commute to work, then reverse to get home.

Guessing the demented and delusional and deranged Occupant of the White House won't want to see this.

Long ago when airlines served actual in flight meals, we traveled on my daughter's fourth birthday. That particular meal included cake. We told her we had called ahead and that it was birthday cake.
She felt very very special!

She's a parent now and has learned the value of lies to children. πŸ˜‰

50+ years ago I worked at a burger place next to a high school. We would get orders on that level to feed visiting football teams.

Abundance of caution. Further study suggests a swaged end rather than crimped. Searches for "radiological cartridge" yield things with a more finished look. And I would expect labeling.

I think you may have been thinking some sort of medical radiation source. That's where I went.

Looks more like stainless steel. And that crimp. Your instincts may be good. Set it apart from stuff and don't handle it until more qualified, experienced people reply here.

The past couple of mornings as I stepped out to head to work I stopped to look at the waning moon.
Somewhere in my field of view between here and there is the Artemis II crew.
So I waved.

Thanks, Jonathan, for letting me occasionally discuss! I seem to recall being fairly active on Bike Portland in 2010.

While they're easy to criticize, our local Walmart - with headquarters in the south - has a locally unsurpassed selection of BBQ sauces with containers going up to gallon size.

Considering the just observed holiday, are you telling us that you are doing work and accepting payment in marshmallow Peeps?

Todd Blanche's first official act as Acting AG is to break the law--specifically, the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R.4405/S.2557), signed into LAW on November 19, 2025.
This alone should be sufficient for Congress to reject his nomination.

A water diversion gate that is part of the Salt River Project in Phoenix, Arizona. This one is at the corner of 16th Street and Maryland. The poster recalls a day looking down through the grate to see water a feet down and the interior walls of the gate covered in crayfish.

Long ago I lived in Phoenix where they move water via the Salt River Project. There are diversion structures on street corners - a stonework box perhaps a meter high, covered with a grate, plunging to darkness.
Once I looked in the one at my corner and saw water. The walls were COVERED in crayfish!

Guy on a corner yesterday in a Jesus T-shirt - wavy hair, flowing robe, nice backlighting.
Holding up a sign depicting the Ark of the Covenant - shiny gold, modern level metalworking.

Timing considered, what does an Old Testament artifact have to do with the resurrection of Christ?
