This isn't the most charitable, but it often feels like if G1 Michigan was your handler instead of Walter and you were piloting a fighter jet with a vibrator in it instead of a mecha. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying that! But I cannot for the life of me get into it.

I wish I liked mechsploitation stuff but it kinda misses... most of the things I *like* about the mecha genre, usually? I don't really care about handlers as a dynamic when its heavily based on military dynamics, and I feel as if a lot of the time its barely about the mech-as-a-body.
