Having litigated against Binnall and his firm multiple times, this is really typical and unsurprising.
I was recently interviewed by fellow International Spy Museum Advisory Board Member Dexter Ingram regarding recent Department of Justice effort to vacate convictions of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers for their roles leading up to and on January 6, 2021.

I always enjoy listening to and reading the books of my former client and friend Lanny Davis.
A black and white photo of Burgos.
Four covers by Burgos for Young Men (featuring the return of the Human Torch), Astonishing, Strange Tales, and Battle.
Today is the birthday of writer & artist Carl Burgos (April 18, 1916-March 1, 1984), creator of the original Human Torch.
My client @oliviatroye.com has put her hat in the ring!!!
This has been my experience w/Trump & his allies. They mostly lose their civil lawsuits or simply walk away. Happens far more often than not & should be grounds now for sanctions as it is either clear strategy to intimidate and/or frivolous claims.

"I had no idea that USAID did this kind of work," USAID's chief of staff told our client, former USAID Global Health chief Nicholas Enrich, as he described the agency's life-saving programs. "I just assumed it was just abortions." Which USAID never funded. More:

Our latest FOIA lawsuit to seek accountability and truth 60 years after their father died during the Vietnam War.
That said, we sued for these records under FOIA in DDC months earlier in March 2025 (25-666) for the James Madison Project and @briankarem.bsky.social. So we've been interesting for quite some time.

Our lawsuit for the late US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died in the aftermath of his efforts to defend our Capitol on January 6, 2021, is part of this decision.
I met @markzaidesq.bsky.social when I was a kid and he was still a student who brought my father into a law suit that changed all of our lives, and history. So grateful for his support at this moment, and his ongoing fight for justice.
I have known Daniela since she was a little girl (her father Allan Gerson & I filed the first lawsuit against Libya for the bombing of Pan Am 103 back in 1993) & watched her grow into an award-winning immigration reporter (New York Times, CNN, Der Spiegel, Financial Times, and Los Angeles Times).
For those in DC area, Politics & Prose is hosting my friend @danielagerson.bsky.social tonight at 5 pm to discuss her new book:
The Wanderers: A Story of Exile, Survival, and Unexpected Love in the Shadow of World War II

In case you missed it: Our client, ICE whistleblower Ryan Schwank, got a shoutout and a "Schwank you" from Stephen Colbert -- watch! Schwank you, Stephen!
Our USAID whistleblower, Nicholas Enrich, made a cameo on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver -- explaining the inexplicable. Watch! 1/2
Our democracy is under attack. Whistleblower Aid is a pioneering, non-profit legal organization that helps whistleblowers report concerns—safely and lawfully. We support our clients on a pro bono basis. But we need you. All donations are fully tax-deductible: https://ow.ly/azk150YuQFH
The DOJ Office of Inspector General (OIG) won't investigate revelations our clients have made about FBI leadership firing employees for political reasons. This administration has weaponized the OIG system against those who need it most. Congress must restore its integrity. https://ow.ly/H4bQ50YxQKf
We represent public-interest whistleblowers--who often risk everything to expose waste, fraud, and abuse--at no charge. But we cannot do it alone. Please support the brave whistleblowers holding powerful people to account: https://ow.ly/zzSX50YxK1h
Huh? Congress won't fund govt because Members are clashing over ICE, so unpaid TSA agents are quitting, so Trump sends in replacements ... from ICE?
Fun fact: ICE agents get NO training to work in airports: https://ow.ly/I5aG50Yzk4a David Kligerman
#ICYMI Senator Grassley Advocates for #Whistleblowers at #SunshineWeek: “Whistleblowers Are Treated Like Skunks at a Picnic” https://ow.ly/oYJZ50YzKZK
We represented Frances Haugen in 2021 when she testified in the US Senate about how harmful Facebook and Instagram were to young users. Now, we're representing whistleblowers like Dr. Jason Sattizahn, a key witness in one of this week's judgments against Meta.

No other organization matches our comprehensive approach to making whistleblowing safer, more accessible, and more effective—and we do it pro bono, which means we don't charge our clients. You can help power this important work by making a contribution: https://whistlebloweraid.org/donate/
Homeland Security is broken—but the new Secretary can turn it around. He should start by listening to whistleblowers, empowering the Inspector General, restoring ICE training, and ending unconstitutional searches, write Mark Zaid, Esq and Andrew Bakaj in Just Security
