Hey guys, I could use a bit of help this month. If you can't, a repost really does help too and I'd very much appreciate it. This month has been kinda awful, to say the least. Every little bit of support helps <3

Unfortunately, that's kind of the idea... flood the zone, put out so much crazy shit that no person could possibly focus on any one thing and so we end up just having to shut it out or completely lose our minds ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Anne of Green Gables was my jam, The Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley High, The Giver, Where the Red Fern Grows, and I was a big horse girl, so I loved the Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell, anything by Marguerite Henry, and Black Beauty

Oh no! That's a bummer. The Aveeno itch relief balm has also helped the flakiness on my face, and a friend of mine with extremely sensitive skin also swears by Avene, if that helps. Good luck!

If it's dry/cracked skin from which you suffer, may I recommend good old nipple cream (and by nipple cream, I mean HPA lanolin). As a fellow eczema/dry skin lady, I use it everywhere...lips, heels, elbows, face (as an occlusive). It's magical ๐Ÿ˜Š

That's why I struggle with contemporary romances and tend to stick with historical, cause I just don't find them...romantic. Maybe I'm reading the wrong ones? Correct me if I'm wrong, and maybe someone here can recommend some good ones, but for the time being, histrom will be my go-to

I grew up in Toronto, so it was Black Creek Pioneer Village. We went to school there for a week, dressed as pioneers, wrote on slates, made candles... it was a blast

Every time a woman runs for president I hear that sheโ€™s too emotional and unstable to make wartime decisions, unlike the men in charge who make really reasonable decisions like bombing kids to death, starting water wars, and poisoning the entire planet

For anyone who doubts these processes -- or humanity's power to alter our planet -- consider this dispatch from the poles: Human-caused warming has already melted so much ice in Greenland and Antarctica that Earth's rotation has slowed and its axis has shifted, slightly altering the length of the day and disrupting the precision of satellite tracking, global positioning systems and timekeeping.

I donโ€™t know how to use chatgpt etc but I imagine itโ€™s going to a website and typing โ€œoh no what groceries do I buy please tell me false god for I am so weak I cannot go onโ€ as your brain atrophies and leaks out of your ears from disuse and the machine is like โ€œbuy eggs milk bread and a horseโ€

After 40 Years, Romance Publisher Harlequin to End Historical Romance Line One of the most successful romance novel publishers in the world is shutting down its historical romance line. Harlequin Enterprises is planning to shut down its historical line in September 2027.

Another one bites the dust. But I remain hopeful that with ever-changing trends, histroms will make a comeback, bigger and better than ever ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I mean, Bridgerton is one of the most popular shows of the last decade, you think they'd be gagging for more of it!

So disappointing. I'm seriously running out of places to submit my own histroms and it's sad cause I LOVE this genre and I want MORE of it!
