Cool Cell pub. Korean team report finding EMF sensor Cyb5b & use it to make inducible gene expression system. Essentially remote-controlled EMF-driven mouse model. They use this including for OSK in vivo reprogramming. www.cell.com/cell/abstrac... Makes you wonder about human EMF exposure!
My parents are vacationing in Korea. This morning I got a text:
Me and your mom got lost. Don't worry.

I did mean Cambridge MA. It's very near MIT.

Enjoy New Jersey!!
Rumor has it I enjoyed Obama's favorite local pizza for lunch at Area 4 in Cambridge before taking the train home. He has good taste.
I wish more of my tax dollars went to the NIH.

Amazing morning at MIT Media Lab with Canan! Really enjoyed meeting the students taking her course on women's health and of course her graduate students!
Beautiful run over and along the Charles river this morning.
I had an amazing time at MIT with the Langer lab today! Lots of exciting technologies coming on the scene very soon, and I'm so honored to make these connections.
LOL. We ate him.
I do eat seafood when I travel. Check out this amazing salt crusted branzino we had at Ostra! Surprisingly it was not that salty.
Briefly in Boston continuing my east coast tour! Faisal Mahmood today, the Langer lab all day tomorrow, then breakfast with Canan Dağdeviren before giving a lecture in her class Wednesday. Busy but I'm excited!

Very upsetting to hear the sad news of Greg Hannon’s passing. I always enjoyed our far too few conversations we had over the years. He had an interesting and insightful perspective on any science being discussed. He will be missed. www.cruk.cam.ac.uk/news/in-memo...

Obviously I am a champion of science always, but I have to say the Artemis mission woke something further in me, has captivated my kids. I hope it reignites bipartisan support of science and engineering because omg we shot people around the moon.

Listening to three 8 year old girls try to decide if it's opposite day makes me sincerely hope their lives never depend on solving the riddle of two guards and two doors.

I mentioned in my talk, after Junjie Yao introduced me and mentioned how long we've known each other, that it feels like scientifically we grew up together. I feel this way about so many in the imaging community. The science is amazing but the people are what makes this work such a privilege.
