Luckily for Carter, his two cousins moved away when they started college, so he has the house to himself, just avoiding his aunt and uncle (he also does not have a good relationship with them) ++

(Another reason why he doesn't get along with them is because of their personalities, Tim is someone who believes he is intellectually superior to everyone and Wyatt bullies Carter just because he isn't "normal" yk jock attitude) +

Carter is an orphan but he lives with his aunt and uncle(brother of Carter's father) since he was like 11-12 so ofc he will have to adjust to being close to his cousins, before the death of his parents he did not see them much so he does not have a good relationship with them +
