It was a sight he wished he hadn't laid upon his eyes on. One moment, there were numerous people in this room, listening attentively to whatever topic he brought that no longer mattered, a couple of questions and arguments were being thrown around, but then... In the blink of an eye, only he remains. What happened? Why was he the only one left standing? "What have you done?" he asked himself, but he wasn't sure if it was his own thoughts. But to consider that a thought in his head wasn't of his own is unthinkable. He tried to avert his gaze, but it felt like someone was locking him in place. He was unable to move nor blink. The scene laid before his eyes is going to burn deep inside his memories. Blood splatter staining the once clean conference tables. Bodies lying around with gunshot wounds. Terror and fear being the last expression painted on their faces. "Don't look away," the thought continues, "Didn't you value the truth more than anything else, doctor?" The truth? Was it that he's the one who did something to these people? How? However from his own quick observation, all evidence seems to disfavor him, yet he remembered none of what has transpired. Was it because he was running from the truth? "Look at what you did." Even to a mind as powerful as the doctor's, it could still easily be shattered by the crushing feeling of guilt.
