My dad got a tattoo in his fifties and regretted it, kept saying he'd get it removed. "What's this gonna look like when I'm 80". Told him - dude, if you look at yourself naked in the mirror at 80 and the most worrying thing you see is that ink, you will be ecstatic. He still has it.

Somewhere out there some asshole is becoming unfathomably rich by convincing CEOs that investing in AI is the key to unlocking the metaverse.
I need bluskys algorithm to understand that if a post is a photo of the poster with a quote from them overlaid on it, I not only don't want to see it, I wish active harm upon them.
Fancy mechanical watches are cool, but electrocuting a tiny crystal so that it vibrates at a frequency of exactly 2^15 is just inarguably cooler, and my $15 Casio is also waterproof.

I love 67% of these directors but I belly laughed.
Calculating how many carbon offsets I need to buy after eating a live horse.
The trailer of him pulling a star destroyer out of orbit was fucking mind blowing. I get that they've since upped this, but I can't describe how universe-changing this felt at the time.
The last time I felt engaged with Star Wars was the Force Unleashed. Seeing that Sam Witwer (who did an amazing job in both of those games) has continued to kill it in multiple roles in the franchise makes me happy.
I love the Resident Evil Leon Wife conspiracies because each one assumes there is a long running story being hidden from players. Meanwhile each game's actual plot seems to have been made up five minutes before the VAs got in the studio.
I think the astronauts should just keep going. I bet there's more cool stuff out there and if they come back here...whoa buddy, there's some really NOT cool stuff going on.

Bluesky. Where me and my twelve online friends confidently tell each other the tide is turning in our favor.
This is the best tweet you're all wrong:
I didn't realize you still posted that's so brave!
Yes.
I have plenty of criticisms of Resident Evil, but they are still one of the very few games I will finish and immediately restart. Just finished playthrough #3 of Requiem.
There are no winners or losers in baseball. It's all about running around and enjoying the nice grass.
I got almost all the way through this thinking it was about Russell Brand.
My large mutant son Snaxon just ordered a hamburger and chicken nuggets at La Tour d'Argent and the waiter shot him with a tranquilizer dart and sold him to the circus
Why does she always look like it's the first time she's ever sat in a chair?
Weird argument against DLSS5 - "I don't care if my games look good". Like, that's great, but this shit DOESN'T look good lol. It's not a question about the cost of prioritizing aesthetics, it's that the aesthetics it's creating are inherently bad.
My Physical Therapist is working on strengthening my gams.
why the hell would i use DLSS5 when i could literally just do this instead
*in my eye, fuck
The emotion and drama of this scene alone caused me to preemptively inform my mom I couldn't go to school the next day because I had to play more of this game. She saw the look and my eye and actually let me do it.
A definitely not altered screen cap from I Think You Should Leave that says "A good graphics card that doesn't whore up your character while you're gaming." Could be referring to anything.
If you went to any graphics programmer and offered them the power of an entire additional GPU to boost image quality, I promise you would receive an order of magnitude improvement that does not look like a smoothed over Instagram video chat beautification filter.
We all hate the DLSS5 shit, but it's important to point out that these demos required TWO high end gpus - one to play the game and another solely dedicated to applying the AI filter as a post process. Not only is this dog shit - it's literally infeasible as a product.
