Introducing Bennett. The guy walks into a room and you immediately wonder what he knows that you don’t. Charming, disarming, a little too quick to notice everything.
Jackie Zeman’s presence as “Mo” is felt throughout Misguided since she first appeared. Season 4 honors her light and the love she brought to this story.

What happened at my wedding to Doyle… I still replay it sometimes, trying to make sense of it. And hearing what became of you afterward, in jail, well it broke something in me.
Oh, sweet Breeze.
I feel awful about deceiving you all those years. I told myself it was for my career but looking back, I can see how badly that choice backfired. You were truly the best soap opera casting director in the business, but somewhere along the way your interest in me got… obsessive.
I just hope she doesn’t blame me for the actions of Breeze… or my mother.

Turns out Tamara’s been out for revenge ever since my own mother had Kyle taken away. She’s been plotting to destroy my family for years. Classic soap villain energy, with a dash of maternal trauma.
She’s lost both sons, & honestly, I don’t know what she’ll do next.
Oy… Tamara. Where do I even start? I suppose I should have known, but I never got the chance to meet Kyle’s mother. So when she posed as my therapist for an entire year—listening, analyzing, learning everything about me—I had no idea who she really was.
Stephanie’s been my rock through everything: the hospital stay, the wedding that ended in tragedy, and now this bittersweet goodbye. Everyone should have a friend like her but preferably one who checks expiration dates on fruit.

This is my best friend, Stephanie. She was the first person to welcome me to LA. She’s been on Guiding Light and All My Children, but a few years ago she traded the spotlight for a new calling: Puppy Motivational Speaker. I don’t get the career change. I mean, who doesn’t want to be a soap star?
It’s been a while since I’ve checked in with my source of inspiration, Big Sue, but maybe it’s time. Time to sit with the inevitable sadness of saying goodbye.

I found out my mother had my high school boyfriend, Kyle, kidnapped. I’ve had amnesia, a jilted ex who offed my fiancé at our wedding (though he was secretly playing me the entire time). To say the drama’s been non-stop would be an understatement.
Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got here.
As a lifelong fan of Guiding Light, I was gutted when it got canceled after seventy-two years. With nothing left tying me to New York, I packed up my life and headed west to Los Angeles. Since then, things have gotten… well, a little soapy.

Today marks Day 1 of piecing the puzzle together. I’m falling in love with these humans all over again as their performances light up the screen & I’m in awe of our small but mighty crew who made it happen. Stay tuned for casting reveals, BTS moments & updates.

Casting calls, location scouts & endless coffee chats paved the way for filming. I can’t wait to introduce the incredible actors who gave this story its emotional heartbeat. After 9 incredible days, 116 pages, laughter, tears, “action,” “cut,” & “hold for plane,” production wrapped!
✅ Pre-Production:
After countless rewrites, challenges and heartbreak, the Season 4 script finally came together. With the generosity of all our donors and @katexmachina.bsky.social’s writing group safe space, we reached our first milestone: a completed script and a green light to move forward.
When a soap icon like Cynthia Watros gives love advice… you listen. Especially when it involves amnesia, true love, and someone rising from the dead.
(GL fans know Annie’s pain too well.)
