Honestly it depends on the player. We can't treat players as one homogeneous blob. There's very unique segments that will have to be looked at in depth and each game will have to decide if they want to cater to that segment or not and how it affects other segments.

What's really interesting is looking at the Chinese building on EVE'S in game web browser. It's common for there to be straight up video players built in that have curated influencers doing videos, along with reddit style forums. All built into the game...not even like the platform the game

Oh definitely there is at least a decent % of millennials and Gen X that grew up on forums that are recapturable. They do have things like...kids...which means their sessions are limited and budgets too
