Was talking to a mackem friend this morning (one of the canny ones). Said he would take losing to us twice if it meant they got into Europe. (Not many would say that). Also thinks we would be mad to get rid of Eddie Howe and acknowledges we’ve had a weird season while they’ve had a very good one.

One week on and I’ve got to say I’m still thoroughly f’d off about that sh*tshow last Sunday. Taking some getting over….

Who’s bright idea was it to do railway works on the day of the derby. This country is braindead. 2 hours into a journey that would normally be about 40 minutes in total. Still, the redheugh bridge and views of vehicle after vehicle are resplendent.
