They weren’t kidding when they said they had him ready to go for a while. He’s metal!

Painted up these Shatterpoint Stormtroopers over the past few days. Could have just done a simple wash over the white and called them done, but no. Why not do multiple layers of different shades of white highlights.

Onto some Mandalorians for the next bit of Shatterpoint. These have been half finished for about two years. Hopefully I can knock these out tonight.

Genuinely shocked by the amount of stores, cons, and wanna be influencers that post in Facebook groups using AI generated images. Not to mention someone who is “making sculpts” of vehicles for MCP using AI to do all the work.

I thought we as a community decided that was a shitty thing to do.

We used to be in South Wales but then moved right before Covid.

Heading to New Orleans in two weeks and I can’t wait. I have a whole day blocked out for the WW2 museum.

Does anyone play Blood Red Skies? I’m trying to decide how to paint my models. Do you paint them all for a specific time period and theater or do you have a historical mish mash of planes and units?

Haha. I was about to add a winter FJ Pak 40 to my order and I’m glad I held off. I’m surprised they don’t have it up for preorder yet though since it’s all new resin crew.

I do all the time! I also like getting it on my brand new knife blades when I add magnets to models.

A little more progress on these Clones and Stormtroopers. Ponds and Wolffe are starting to take shape and be more recognizable. I would like to think one more day, but in actuality it’s probably two. Getting the itch to paint some olive green again!

Honestly it could be that way here too. This is just an official day for it.

In case anyone was wondering what sort of community I live in: tomorrow is Drive Your Tractor to School Day.

Although I worked on my Clones and Stormtroopers last night they basically look the same since it was a lot of white highlights and guns being painted.

The other thing I worked on were building these two Jeeps and this M7 Priest for our Bolt Action escalation league.

Cheers! They’ve been sat unpainted for too long, so even if it’s not perfect I’m happy.

Currently working on these Clones and Stormtroopers. Somehow I screwed up the priming and got some cracks in it. I’m being lazy with these so rather than strip them I am painting over it. Looks barely noticeable, plus it’s not like they’re competition pieces so I think I’m ok.
