Today, I’m remembering what life was like before the EPA. Unchecked industry polluted air & water. Places like Love Canal dumped toxins near homes, sickening & killing people. The Cuyahgoa River in OH caught on fire two times-this led to the creation of the EPA. Trump gutted the EPA for industry.

What is wrong with A.I. is the same thing that's wrong with a GOP government -- they are both run for the profit of corporations, not the improvement of anyone's lives.

The political freakout among some corners about a small number of government run grocery stores aimed at addressing the hunger of the poor is wild to me, in part because all over the country there are ways you could get groceries for free, and even delivered to u for free. Food pantries, etc…

An added wrinkle to this pattern of mass disassociation is that the President is permanently disassociated...he can say "Mamdani is a terrorist who must deported" one day and then the next day have a chummy photo op with him in the White House. His words & his actions are totally unlinked.
