SoftMaker Textmaker is so much like word, I can use it immediately. No learning curve. Looks like Microsoft has one fewer customers.

I've been a @microsoft.com Word power user for 30 yrs. Today, I'm cancelling my subscription. No matter if you hit the SAVE icon, MS Word does not save your doc until you close it, doesn't even save history unless you're on OneDrive. I lost 3000 words, the last 2 chapters of my novel draft.
