Gorgeous. It’s just the right amount, and I love the line work.

Not me crying into my mac and cheese that I made for my son and me. I may have had a similar experience with James Earl Jones. He was shy but incredibly sweet.

lol, That sounds really interesting though. Legitimately I want to hear more about it.

I completely agree. I’ve made more genuine connections and conversations here than I ever had on Instagram.

I’m a human that illustrates book covers and has made the cover for my debut fantasy novel coming out later this year. While they aren’t released yet, I would be happy to chat with you about it.

That would be amazing, I’d be really excited to see what you come up with. If it would help, I could send you a higher res of the pencil sketch. Let’s chat more over email if that’s alright. Mine is nix@geekycleary.com

🫶 Thank you! This might be a bit of a stretch, but would you consider collaborating together on a piece?

Thank you! That’s such an encouraging thing to hear. I love the color palettes in your art.

This whole thread of shots from your ACNH island is gorgeous. I love being able to see your builds from further away to take in every bit of beauty you packed into them.

Also I’m finally getting caught up watching Severance season 2 and doesn’t disappoint!

Traditional ink illustration of a stone tower floating in the clouds. A winding staircase travels up the outside of the weathered fantasy castle, covered in green moss, dangling vines, and plants. Fluffy blue clouds surround the tower.

Felicity strikes me as a dark romance reader, and I say this as someone who enjoys dark romance.

Writing Tip:
There's a reason why Sherlock Holmes explains his deductions to Watson. If he didn't, we might assume that the writer is just making up deductions out of thin air. If you plan on making a super smart character, you still have to show your work.

Robin Hobb and specifically The Farseer trilogy is amazing in my opinion. While the slower pacing can make it difficult for some to get into, the character writing is top tier and worth the journey.

Can’t wait to read more of this series. I feel like it’s fitting the season my current mood perfectly.

Book cover for Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett. The title is in a whimsical serif font surrounded by simply colored illustrations of flowers, mushrooms, and the occasional animal looking bones poking through a circular portal.

Started reading Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries last night and I’m getting a really good cozy, winter fantasy vibe so far.

I understand. I have The Familiar on my TBR and was curious if there was another book by her you’d recommend.
