I don't often talk at length about Trump on here because from me it's just fully redundant at this point. There are only so many ways to say "I hate this guy in a very complete manner" that don't violate terms of service.

Language and vocabulary (not only of words but of concepts, narratives, etc) are incredibly important in that they are fundamental to bring experience to consciousness.
What we can't name or explain or talk about remains affecting us unconsciously, as some formless sense of discomfort or suffering

I had so much fucking fun on this commission for Jenna, the face of Vieve. Jenna is a talented local musician & dancer who wanted me to help them construct an album cover for upcoming use. Vieve's crown is inspired by sculptor Steve Tobin's Steel Roots collection in their home state of PA. 1/2

This is one I'd love to revisit to further render those earrings. I am beyond proud of how her face came together. I believe I used a reference though I do not have it anymore.

I drew this from reference in an effort to learn more about the shape of the head. This is one of the many things I drew to help me understand the head as a 3D object. It's kickass, and educational.

I appreciate everyone that took the time to help me understand this. When the comic mentions kids transitioning, I realize thats a very broad statement as there are levels to transitioning. HRT around late teen years isn't terribly concerning.

Yeah blocking care entirely is authoritarian. It should be up to the people involved. Interesting read, I learned something new. When they mention "gender affirming care" do they also include personal dress in that? If so, thats unconstitutional.

Neat, I didnt know about blockers. By this model the length of time transitioning takes offers many opportunities to reassess. By the time HRT becomes an option, gender has been long on the transitioners mind.

I've thought medical transition should take place after puberty, yet transitioning beforehand can have better outcomes for those who are secure in their choice. My concern is if the youth finds that transitioning wasn't right for them, it makes backtracking so much harder.
