It irks me that I said a couple of serious things to a woman while we were taking swimming lessons together and she laughed. I think I know why she laughed, so please don’t explain it to me, but still, sigh, connection over this has been harder than I thought it would be.
While this post is doing crazy numbers for me, let me say that it’s brought to you by the “ÉlectroniQC” playlist on Apple Music: music.apple.com/playlist/%C3%A9lectroniq...
Qualité Motel is playing in Lac-Mégantic in August. Lac-Mégantic…where have I heard that name before? 🤔

For example, Qualité Motel. They’re what, tri-lingual? Maybe more-lingual than that? I want to go see them perform live.
More French-language music artists should roll through Canada’s largest francophone city (Toronto).
I hope you like having to enter your ID information every time you visit a website while physically located in Canada.

Well?! I’m waiting!
Has the Liberal Party formed a majority yet?
What are my career goals? I don’t actually know. Maybe you do?

Is it 10 AM Eastern yet?
I thought I’d meet and get to know more people through swimming.
Two small pots, each with a yet-to-bloom hyacinth, one purple and one white. The backdrop is a print of a wintry scene in Toronto of a TTC streetcar.

I came away with two hyacinths at last night’s Thorrablót. I'm hopeful that it will be a yearly tradition! They haven’t bloomed yet, so none of the bros doing pull-ups on the streetcar asked me about my flowers this time.
This lyric had me at the first half, not gonna lie. The actual subject of the lyric has no “Controversies” or “Legal issues” section on his Wikipedia, so I think we can say that he’s a Good Richard. genius.com/37346085/Slayyyter-crank...
So far so good.

Angine de Poitrine are a very good example of this. ^^
I gotta say, today was a good day.
Jeremy Hansen deserves an Order of Canada, which I guess is a pretty obvious thing to say.
Every time I watch a baseball game and think about the Moon (which I am right now), I think of this cartoon from Baseball Friends: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMdcDAwMeOY
It’s hard to think of a better time for this news to drop. For E.S., I mean.
“Extract me already!”
—Me at the end of my next flight.
I assume the astronauts are like me on a flight: I enjoy almost the whole thing, but once we’ve landed, I’m like “I’m ready to get off the plane now, I’m ready to get off the plane now, I’m ready to get off the plane now” and so on.

Splish splash.
I’m doing deep breathing exercises instead.
A 6-minute blackout. Can I hold my breath that long?
