"Yeah. It's only fair, right?"

"You get to choose what we do next, then."

He nodded at her with a smile.

"Yeah. It was."

He would be chuckling throughout the film as well, enjoying the time they are spending together.

The movie went on for some time. After a while, however, it would soon end.

He draped an arm around her as the movie started.

He's scrolling through the movies until he finds it, clicking it on when he does.

"Hmmmm. How about The Mask?"

"Alright. What's there to choose from?"

"I've experienced things movies wish they could portray. Those kinda flicks don't have anything for me anymore, so I was thinking more of a light comedy."

"Right, right. I got it."

He smiled at her.

"Oh, really? Can you tell what I'm thinking about right now?"

"You read my mind, babe."

"Alright, then. What are our options?"

"Neither do I. Why don't we watch a movie or something?"

"You got me there."

He chuckled a bit.

"So, anything you wanna do?"

He pulled away with a bit of a nod.

"Yes I did. You miss me?"

"You got that right."

He smiles at her words.

"You're right. I can do this instead."

He plants a kiss upon her lips.

"You think that highly of me? I'm flattered."

He nods at her.

"Really. I couldn't stop thinking about that beautiful face of yours."

He cups her cheek gently.

"Don't threaten me with the chance to get closer to you."

He wraps an arm around her.

"I missed you, y'know?"

He wasn't expecting her to be so understanding. That little show she put on was rather humorous.

"I....thought you'd wanna kill me, but imglad you don't."

He sits on her couch and beckons her to join him.

"I guess that's fair."

He walks inside after she lets him in.

"I hope you're not too mad."

"Of course I did. I just got back to the planet. Didn't you get my note?"

He left a note on her fridge saying he'd be gone for a while.

Heswaiting for her by the door, anticipating how she'll probably scold him for being away for so long.

Oh, absolutely. It's been too long since they last saw each other. In fact, he's knocking on her door.

He's gonna pay @ladyoflimbo.bsky.social a little visit.
