I assume this event may have already happened but I'd love to be involved if it hasn't or you redo it. I'd love to see how our tech future involves faith, where this means multiple faith-based backgrounds focused on pragmatic caregiving and holistic, equitable action. Then the tech supports that.

As I've said for a few years now, "AGI" is a faith based belief, and where any basic claims can't be proven about the results of a product, service or system whose makers claim it is AGI, then AGI is bad religion.

Highly reco this paper, re: AGI accountability.

I was on Twitter since 2007 and was at SXSW when it launched. So many positive memories. So many amazing connections. So sad to watch it get Elonized.

Looking forward to this new community and journey.

Free Our Feeds Let's take social media away from billionaire capture.

I've been watching Twitter die for too long. Thanks to the efforts of freeourfeeds.com for the inspiration to be among people who want open dialogue and discourse versus doom scrolling, ads, and harmful fanatical flotsam.

Earth’s warmest months on record redefined summer this year: Children at camps stayed inside. People worked and played outside late at night. Some considered moving to escape the worst effects. To many Americans, it felt like a climate inflection point. nyti.ms/3PCdmBq

Very excited for my first post!! Who should I follow as someone who has been in the AI ethics space since 2013? Or in the sustainability space for just a few years? Or as a blues musician? All thoughts welcome and hi to this community. Thanks for letting me join.
