The Nazi shit. But it was hard to make the shift.
It would have been easier if there was, say, a crack designer unit that had been sentenced to internet jail for a crime they didn't commit, and who promptly escaped to the online underground where today they help people get off bullshit platforms

(oddly, the mixtape never had the song that “Napalm Conflake” came from - Big Audio Dynamite’s “The Globe”)
direct from the summer of 1992, here’s a recreation of the Napalm Cornflake mixtape: open.spotify.com/playlist/580...

The only thing better than putting easter eggs into something is EXPLAINING all the easter eggs! How many nerdy knick-knacks can you spot in this picture? jaybushman.kit.com/posts/easter...
I know, right?
Wow, they really don’t warn you about the drop on the day after launching a Kickstarter. Kinda like a cousin to LARP drop
@jaybushman.bsky.social and I shared more details on the immersive storytelling parts of #SleepyHollow1998 with @noproscenium.com

take a look now :) and thanks a ton!
Thanks @noproscenium.com!
Head back to the era of Y2K for a version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow told through letters, sketches, and artifacts from the era of cassette tapes, flip phones, and zines.
Our latest Now Funding is all about SLEEPY HOLLOW, 1998, which launched today on Kickstarter.
stay tuned…we may be adding another one
i’d imagine that a 13-year old who was into things from the nineties would have (stares off into the distance) seen some shit.
our story has:
- some kissing
- romantic drama
- one “fuck"
- one “shit"
- a couple of jokes that hinge on discomfort with nudity
does this count as “adult themes”? what age rating would you call this?
We’ve been asked about what the age rating is for SLEEPY HOLLOW, 1998. Neither me nor @meganwesterby.bsky.social have kids, so we’re having a hard time figuring out. So I turn to you, #parentsofbluesky
Woo-hoo, thanks! Now if we could just get Wally Shawn on board with doing an adaptaiton of the Designate Mourner in this format…. :)
Thanks Ben!
thanks a lot Cecil!
We just launched a Kickstarter for SLEEPY HOLLOW, 1998 - a reimagining of the classic set in the 1990s and delivered through a series of letters that come to your mailbox. For anyone who loves classic literature, the 90s, or pie (pie plays a big role in the story) www.kickstarter.com/projects/jay...
Okay we couldn't wait. So we put the kickstarter video up early on Youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=91kb...
Psyched to share that the Kickstarter campaign for “SLEEPY HOLLOW, 1998” goes live tomorrow morning! Here’s a sneak peek into what we’ve been cooking up: jaybushman.kit.com/posts/kickst...
I think Gulsora watches LBD, but in secret. Also Squaresville. She’s an @mkwiles.bsky.social completist
This season of For All Mankind takes place in 2012. So which of the Mars kids is watching Lizzie Bennet Diaries?
And what are you, reader, but a Loose-Fish and a Fast-Fish, too?
They had no idea what was happening in the studio. But who’s gonna say no to that amount of press?
So everyone who did that and then tuned to the Mercury Theater missed the opening that clearly annonuced “War of the Worlds, by HG Wells.” And whatever freak out happened, happened between 5 minutes after the start and minute 30, when they did the ident
The version of the story I was told was that War of the Worlds was up against the Edgar Bergin and Charlie McCarthy show, which was the #1 show on radio. Sort of like SNL, people would tune in for the opening monologue, and then turn the dial to hear what else was on.
