Everything is happening. :D
(FYI, it's important to note that Twin Peaks is a loving note to the Soap Operas, Crime Dramas, and Supernatural Weirdness that was on TV at the time. He just put all the timelines on fast forward instead of making you wait months to find out the twists.)

I mean, they say that,
and if you ever met someone like Strahd you should turn around and run like hell...
But there's a reason he's been the lead cause of my PC death count, and all of them start with the phrase 'I can fix him'...
LOWER COMMISSION PRICES!
If you've wanted a commission from me, now is the perfect time!
Help me to stay afloat and to have more time to draw my personal art. And to no go back to corporate work!
I'd greatly appreciate any reposts of this, so it can reach more people! πβ¨β¨

Curse of Strahd with the work group is going very well,
but let's just say that the Mists of Ravenloft decided to throw a joker into the Tarokka deck.
The GM turned Player who ran Strahd before is nervous because he realizes that *something* is off about this go around, but has no idea what...
What it's like if you've ever been a responder, especially in a lead position:
Mundus sine Caesaribus is a motto I can get behind.
"Mundus sine Caesaribus"
I now have the phrase I want on my tombstone.
*work partner, for clarity.
(I am a Libertarian, for the record.)
Also, can I say how much bullshit the 'If you commit suicide you can't be buried in this graveyard' is?
Another thing to get mad at.
The rage goes deep.
It's almost a month since the death of my former partner,
a FBI investigator who put pedophiles in jail.
A die hard conservative, he tried so hard to win me over 'to the dark side'.
But the FBI purge broke him, and he just couldn't anymore. He couldn't understand.
This is awesome stuff!
Nice, as always.
Look, when the pilots I know are like "nah fam, I'm walking",
I think you could be excused for bringing a parachute.
A lot of us tried...
but a better analogy is it's a HOA where I we were shouted down and half the people didn't show because 'it wasn't important.'
As a programmer, if you told me I had to restart a successful program from scratch without all the issues WITHOUT the expectation of trying to keep the legacy version running?
I'd assume I was having one of those dreams where I'm also working with super nice understanding clients...
So what would you have the leadership say?
Besides Trump is a out of control, which they all have been saying?
Not show up and make Trumps job easier?
Refuse to participate at all and just make speeches outside the building, so that they can step on the gas?
What type of push back do you expect?
You're talking sense, but the wound is still fresh.
Once the scar tissue has set in, and people stop the circular firing squad, this all will start to set in.
I'll hold a lot of things against the Democratic establishment.
Hell, I'm not even a Democrat, despite effectively being forced to vote for Democrat straight ticket for the past 9 years,
But we're at the point where purity tests and performance have any real value.
I don't like it either,
but at the same time anyone who actually wants to resist Trump and is in the house or senate right now HAS TO SAY THIS.
To prevent things from happening, to delay laws, to prevent hardliners from getting rid of the Filibuster, the few pliable republicans have to help.
Really annoying to be an expert in AI and Cyber Security, and then have some idiot who clearly is full of shit say things like 'Then how did AI master this test?!'
I'd like to point them to the many failed attempts, the special rules they get, and HOW THEY DIGESTED ALL THE TESTS ALREADY.
"Don't you love that we've been told for the past five, six years that the thing we need to be most frightened of is what pronouns people are using, and then someone actually does a Nazi salute behind the President's podium on live television and we're fine with that?"
- Ava Santina Evans , BBC
I work with people developing low level tools that use client side 'AI' for autofill and suggestion purposes, including scope limiting to prevent coders from accidentally re-enabling vulnerable code.
Simple, commonsense stuff that should be getting funds,
But it isn't getting the money right now.
Wait until either the real price tag drops and people abandon it because 'It's not worth it',
or wait until they bankrupt themselves because it never hits a point where they can go to step two of the enshitification challenge.
All right, it's been a decade,
Guess it's time to roll out the Barovian carpet for a bunch of players and break out Castle of Strahd for some good old fashion chaos.
Gonna need the house's approval to do pretty much anything of note, and they can afford to lose exactly 4 votes. (And for the first few months, they can afford to lose 1 vote.)
And cutting jobs puts Republican house reps in both Maryland and Virginia at risk.
Musk gonna be hearing this a lot:
As someone working day in and day out on the internet infrastructure, it's sad to see how much enshitification has taken hold.
But there is something awesome when you stumble across the old relics of the old school web.
Bezos killed the publication of this political cartoon,
Said cartoonist has now left for greener pastures,
and I wish them luck.

Awesome find!
Happy New Year, my friends.
May we all find the Gold amidst the Gravel.
One of the hardest parts as a expert in the 21st century is trying to get your warnings and knowledge taken serious.
In person? I have no issue telling entire companies what the real deal is.
Social Media? I'm held as a equal to a guy who glanced once at a article citing my own work against me.
