Creature of the day: Anomalocaris! These funny little guys are extinct, unfortunately. Their name means, "unlike other shrimp" and funnily enough, scientists accidentally misidentified their separate parts as different animals before they put them all together and found this critter!

Platypuses are venomous egg laying mammals who are nocturnal and also hunt by sensing electricity??? That's a lot. But more on the electrical sense, platypuses use that sense to hunt the faint electrical signals that creatures produce underwater. Intruiging!
