I have to share some good news. The original story was so disturbing to me that seeing how it's turned out makes me especially happy.

Way to go!
We’re just going to go ahead and treat this as the White House finally admitting global warming is real.

That makes sense. It was a serious comment! I depend on drip irrigation because we get so little rainfall, so it's hard for me to grow enough plants to hide the yellowing foliage.
I want to see your dog!
Taken together, these four features can create a trancelike state that can keep us stuck on social media apps or video games for hours. Children are particularly vulnerable. n.pr/4mH6i6s
I'm watching to see what you do with all the tulip leaves . . . 😁
The one he bought just to run for office in Nevada?
No, it was not original with Phillips, whether or not she had it tattooed or wrote a poem about it. No, Robbins should not be able to trademark it. Give me a break. Oh, wait, I should trademark that.
The audience seems to be mostly women. I don't think that will be enough. (I think he's great, and I love what he's doing, but he has a lot to overcome.)
I picked beans as a kid in Oregon in the 1960s. It was hot, itchy work, but it was a temporary job--just a way for housewives to earn a little extra money and girls to earn money for school clothes (don't remember how much). I'm grateful that's all it was for us and I was (we were) able to move on.
Felt it on east edge of Reno. Wasn't sure it was an earthquake until I saw this.
Even worse is when they use it to add snarky jokes or hash tags. People don't "get" alt text, and they're not interested in learning what it's supposed to be. Every time I write alt text, I imagine my blind brother reading it.

A pair of mallard ducks in a back yard with dead flowers, grass, and a fence behind them. Rocks in the foreground; suburban houses in the background.
Hen: You told me there would be a pond here.
Drake: So I missed it by one yard. Sue me.
Hen: So it's next door? You better be right.

I love that, and I don't even like hellebores!
I've never bought a thing from QVC or HSN, but I still have cable and I like to watch the clothing shows for entertainment when I get tired of the drug commercials on CNN and MSNOW.
I often edit such things in my own writing just because I know that some will think they're wrong even though they aren't.
I love almost all the birds in my yard. I guess my favorites are the quail and the mourning doves (which sometimes nest on my front porch). The jays have an annoying call, but they're beautiful. The hawks look impressive, but they eat the smaller birds, which I hate.
Wow!
Wow!
The US loses about $700 BILLION a year to tax evasion. Nearly 30% of unpaid taxes are from the richest 1%, and half from the top 5%. When Republicans defund the IRS, they are protecting the interests of the wealthy, not you. https://bit.ly/4tHsnnY ..

That's what I've been thinking, but this article is scary. I thought Hungary had lost its democracy, and Orban's win surprised me. It's terrifying that our country is more vulnerable than Hungary.
Whew! I didn't want to insult you. Geology is fascinating to me.
No open crack in the ground!
I'm not sure what you mean because you must already know this, but here goes. I am not a geologist! But to me it looks like a fault on the left on first photo, the center of the second, and all across the third (my favorite). They just look like banks if you're not looking for a fault.
You can see it if you know what you're looking for. These are good.
I have to put barriers around mine because of the cottontails. (I don't mind; I like the cottontails.)
I'd never heard of poet's narcissus, but they look like the ones Google found for me. I like them!
Looks like it!😂 I checked to see if I had a picture of that, but I didn't. I was doing a freelance article about earthquakes in Nevada.
