Nah I hate all elected Republicans and anyone making excuses for this.
A handful of elected Republicans could stop Trump on any of this stuff. Murdering US citizens, bombing 150 people in a girl's school. They don't.
Put every elected Republican in the Concentration Camps they built.

Prediction: Republicans will continue to run the debt up as fast as possible, with wars of choice, ballrooms and handouts for the rich until Dems take power.
Then Republicans will suddenly, spinelessly realize the debt is high and demand Democrats not spend a dime.
Hold me to it.
Hoo! North Carolina voters wiping out anti-trans candidates.

I can't f***ing believe it. A Libertarian group actually stood up for something.

Haha of course Blue Sky would have a completely rational and intelligent discussion, I was so confused seeing 2 people disagree politely and learn from each other!
You're all correct, the study is discredited, but what was confirmed is what happens when cruelty is encouraged.
$1.3bil in Medicare fraud. Trump's selling pardons $1mil/each - out he goes. Probably won't just get right back to it right? Oop:

This bill was originally introduced in 2020, and it has overwhelming public support - over 85% of voters.
Congress being what it is, it has managed to prevent it from passing for years. But the Epstein discharge petition is proof this method can overcome corrupt blocks in Congress.
Congress insider stock trading:
The Republican-controlled government has once again killed this ban. However, some Republicans support it, including one that's introduced a Discharge Petition for the ban.

Say there's no Patriarchy if you want but this was the first time I'd heard of this brilliant way women can be superhumans in sports. We didn't just invent women recently. Why isn't this common knowledge?
A podcast introduced me to a tactic used by some women in sports, where there's a day in their cycle they're full of rage, a day they're invincible, etc. They use it to schedule their workouts. They'll also use birth control to shift their cycle so Rage Day is Game Day.
That's pretty cool.
Several friends are going thru perimenopause and the describe: Rage.
Driving: Rage
Talking to children: Rage
At the store: Rage
But can rage be good?

Republicans have been building a cult that removes empathy from its membership for decades, Trump is just a result. Show people violence and they'll gasp; yell their programming word "illegals!" and the Republicans in the room shift to delight.
That programming started decades ago.
Plot twist! Just kidding this one was in fact F*** them poors again.
Free win: Republicans are considering pulling back on ICE and their destruction of healthcare
It is so troubling that Russia feels an election in Ukraine is to Russia's advantage. They're that confident in their ability to use them to destroy a democracy.

NYC cut air pollution by 22%.
I knew Congestion Pricing would reduce traffic but over 20% better air is way better than I expected. It looks like the main traffic reduction is actually from semis, maybe they were regularly idling in the city?

Republicans are pushing a plan with a lie for its name, that would make homes even less affordable. Capital gains from selling them would no longer be taxed, increasing the incentive to raise the price as high as possible, further screwing over working Americans.

Some donuts went stale, so I'm going to try making them into bread pudding.
Which means I'm now on page 3 of someone's life story vaguely related to a bread pudding recipe.

I feel like progressive zionism is like democratic socialism. You're factually right about the label, but you have to accept if you decide to use it, a LOT of people are going to mishear you. It's easier to just use a different label.
I understand why people say this. People who feel disempowered say extreme things because they don't know what else can be done.
The fix is to teach them the levers of power and that they need to find organizers and unite to push as hard as possible on those levers. Empowerment disarms extremism
