Got lucky at Haybridge this afternoon. Spotted an Adder, some Lizards, a Slow Worm and a Raft Spider all within 10 minutes of getting out of the car.

Orban’s defeat shows that when we stand together against the politics of hate and division, hope wins and the far right friends of Farage can be defeated.

Faintest Idea playing on the smallest stage ever last night in Lancaster!

2 new additions to the 12" collection.
The Crawlers - We Told You So. American hardcore not dissimilar to Poison Idea which can only be a good thing. Great stuff!
S.H.I.T - For A Better World. Canadian D-beat. Genuinely nearly blew the speakers. Loudest thing I've heard in a while. Fucking love it!

Couple of recent additions to the 7" collection.
The Domestics - Random Camel Shit live ep. If you know this band the you know what you're getting here. Fast and furious stuff.
Gimic - We Are Making A New World. Hard to describe this one. Everything you want from a punk band plus more. Recommended!

The worst thing about not being at MPF is not being at MPF. A close second is seeing all the social media posts from people who are at MPF.
Wish I was at MPF!

Top gig last night. Grade 2 smashed it as always. The stuff they played off their new album sounds great.
Kicked In The Teeth were definitely an enjoyable support band too.
I'd forgotten what a small venue The Deaf Institute is!

First successful reptile spotting mission of the year. A couple of Lizards and a couple of Adders. The Adders were too far away to get any decent shots hence the poor quality picture and video 🦎🐍

Antwerp Mansion was one hell of a place! Some of the grimmest toilets ever but they added to the character of the place!

There's a special place in hell for people who don't leave feedback when they've bought something from you on Discogs.

Cracking gig last night. I was well impressed with The Meffs. Stiff Little Fingers were magnificent as per usual.

If in doubt, go to a fucking gig.
Manchester again tonight. Been a good while since I've seen SLF and surprisingly I haven't actually seen The Meffs before.

That new Lana Del Rey tune with the really long title is batshit crazy but also weirdly addictive.

Impromptu purchase of tickets for @stifflittlefingers.bsky.social and @themeffs.bsky.social in Manchester on Friday night. Why the fuck not?

Gammons just don't understand how they're just useful idiots for the very wealthy. Sad.

Sorry about the late reply! Smoking Fingers, young ska punk band from the Isle Of Man are definitely not to be missed.
Last Tree Squad too.
I've heard many good things about Diaz Brothers and Minimal Faff. Haven't seen either of them myself but I'll definitely be checking them out.

8.8 mile walk today from Claife Heights Viewing station to Wray Castle and back. Then into Hawkshead for an ice cream. Day well spent.

Yakkie are one off the top of my head. I'll have another look though the line up and get back to you.

Just given Grail Guards debut album 'Still No Future' a spin and what an album it is! 10 tracks of fast, loud, angry, anti fascist punk rock just the way it should be.
Can't recommend this album enough. I really need to catch these guys live too!

What did you think of Yakkie? I was really, really impressed with them in Manchester on Friday. Dead Pioneers were ace too.

Carried on with my annual tradition of watching the Brit awards in complete disgust. (Apart from that 1 time Olivia Rodrigo performed an amazing version of Drivers Licence)
To be fair Rosalias performance was pretty cool this year, especially bringing Bjork out. Pretty underwhelming other than that.
