Found some of the new #Ikea #smarthome devices in stock. I’d have loved to see the E14 bulbs as well, but beggars can’t be choosers. What I’m most curious about: will the scroll wheel work with all Matter bulbs or just the IKEA ones? I’ll report back.
I would love to buy some more myself. Compared to the Lafaer and the new SwitchBot, they are clearly superior. Much faster than the SwitchBot, much smaller than the Lafaer.

Plus, how about a notification when you’ve connected a Matter device to the maximum number of fabrics? So far, all we get is the standard failed to add message. It also seems like the maximum number of fabrics varies wildly from device to device.
The ongoing tribulations of Matter: added an Aqara U200 smart lock to Google Home. Device now connected to three Matter fabrics. Two hours later and it’s offline on all three. The lock worked perfectly for a year+ previously. The fabled multi-admin capabilities of Matter still aren’t there yet.
Ordered two of #SwitchBot 's new battery-powered presence sensors. Will they beat the fabled Aqara FP300 to market? Will they be confused by the glass in the shower stall? Will they turn on the lights randomly because Casper the Friendly Ghost moved through the hallway? We shall see.
