It is with great sadness that I learned that Devva Kasnitz has past away. She was a disability champion and anthropologist extraordinaire. Devva, you were the first disabled anthropologist I had ever met (aside from myself) and a true friend and role model. I will miss you more than you can know.

Thanks to Erin, I will be on a panel at the Society for Applied Anthropology to talk about the book. Anna and I are hoping the volume will be assigned to undergraduates and graduate students and read by their advisors.

To echo what Erin said, Anna Jaysane-Darr and I have co-edited a volume through Routledge titled "The Disabled Anthropologist." It should be available by Spring, perhaps by April. The contributors range from graduate students to retirees and those early or mid-career.
